I had no idea which one of these to share. They are all pretty entertaining even if I didn’t recognize the logo. Go see the other 14 at Buzzfeed.
thanks Birch

This promo by San Francisco comedy group Kasper Hauser reminds me of a few cheesy corporate videos I’ve seen.

You don’t have the stomach to watch this, so I posted it for you. Yes, you.
This may actually be a great thing to help you stay on that diet. Seriously, I never want to eat again. I watched the whole thing, I swear. Slow motion can make things terribly interesting or just plain terrible.

I’ll never look at Swedish electronic music the same again. Also, for some reason I still really like the video.
In this day and age, we’re encouraged to keep a close eye on our power usage and keeping our personal carbon footprint to a minimum.
As a lot of people realise, it takes a bit of effort to do things like getting up to turn the TV off, looking fer the ‘off’ switch on a remote control and waiting more than five minutes to have a healthy meal .
With such folk in mind, may I present the most attitude-laden ‘green’ gizmo I have yet encountered:this regulator (sadly, still only a concept, not a saleable product) actually registers when your phone charger has had its mandatory allocation of juice and spits out the connector, effectively cutting off the power completely.

Sure, there are other gadgets out there that cut the power off from fully-loaded equipment, but none which seem to show such disdain fer your power-hungry ways…
*Yer lucky you got that as a title. I was also considering a bulemia gag or something else along the lines of spitting and… no, I think I’ll stop there…
I’ll be honest, I was only going to post an excellent clip of an excellent tune (from an admittedly patchy album, sadly).
When I first chance upon the collective known as The Imagined Village, I thought it was a great idea; folk music did need updating in the general subconscious and mashing together refreshed classic folk lyrics with dub beats flicked all my switches: see ‘Tam Lyn Retold‘ fer a superb example – having beat poet Bejamin Zephaniah ’sing’ it was utterly inspired.
Here, however, is ‘Space Girl’ from their latest album, ‘Empire and Love’.
Now, the thing with Youtube is you have the opportunity to look at what they refer to as ‘related videos’. It’s a loose definition, I think…
I know Chris posted this before, but I think it was my turn to make folks’ eyes bleed, so here it is again.
I’ve ignored this chatroulette craze thus far. I can see how it could be intriguing, but I have enough distractions. The videos of folks dressing up, like Cobra Commander are amusing but if I want to talk to frat boys or perverts, I’ll just call one you guys on Skype.
So if you haven’t taken the plunge or you fear what you’re going to find there, this is a decent short documenting the chatroulette experience.

I don’t know how I found Firmuhment but it is insightful, artistic and downright amazing. You can find tiny rants like this one about Valentine’s Day, to music and art about a celebrity sighting to artwork like below. Definitely interesting to add to your weekly bookmarks. In a world of blogs hand-written items have a tremendous impact. Very cool.
