Lego Pop Up

WHAT????!?!?

I don’t know if this is amazing beyond words or if I am easily impressed because I haven’t slept in days. So, I will let you be the judge. I am off to embarrass myself in public somehow.  Perhaps I’ll regale people with thrilling stories of that time I grew a mustache. Or I could tell them that I have a blog.

8-Bit Lego Wow
Posted by Chris on Tuesday, August 25, 2009

I am a bit late to the game on this one because I ignored it the first time I spotted it on a blog. Whatever site I was at, they were gushing over the video because of some Mario-Nintendo crap. I am not part of the cult of Mario, it bores me. However, chetyre sent me the video through twitter, so I gave it a chance on his recommendation. Check it out, if you haven’t already seen it.

PMOG Link Monday vol. 19
Posted by Chris on Monday, November 3, 2008

Missions on PMOG have been sort of wonky lately, but I have managed to find you some new stuff around the web.

One Word

A mission by user candyrain brought me to oneword.  A great place for inspiration or a quick exercise to get through that writer’s block.  Check it out, I found it interesting.

Brothers-Brick

User candyrain also introduced me to a blog about Legos.  Of course, there’s a blog for Legos, why wouldn’t there be?  Yet, I have never been there until recently.  Now, I am inspired to dig up the Legos so I have another timekiller.  Pretty soon, I’ll have so many timekillers that I won’t have to be a productive member of society.  Who am I kidding, I am already there.

Howard The Duck

I totally forgot about that crazy movie.  Thanks to denndragon for the reminder.  The website looks like it’s pretty old, but I was just happy to remember the film.  I must put it on my Netflix so that I can bring Sikkdays readers another So Bad It’s Good Review, like Zardoz Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter, or these gems.

Pachelbel’s Canon in D

I’m sure those of you that are band geeks will enjoy this more than the rest of us, but bcb’s mission brought me this funny video about why all our top 40 crap sounds alike.

Hopefully, missions on PMOG will start working a bit better soon.  I’ve already noticed some decent changes, I’m just having some major issues with broken missions that are 4-8 months old.
