I nervously clicked on this one. So many people in college made these cheesy action films filled with gun-play that I find them terribly boring and uncreative. However, this wasn’t so bad.

Axe Cop
Posted by Chris on Wednesday, February 17, 2010

Oh my stars! I found this on the weekend, shame on me for not sharing sooner!

Please Hollywood make this film. No really, the next time you get the urge to make another one of those awful parody films do this instead. I guarantee it won’t do worse than that crap you’ve produced.

Do you know why that is truly brilliant? The comic is written by 5 year old Malachai Nicolle and drawn by his 29 year old brother Ethan. Learn more and read the comic at Axe Cop.

What if… company logos were the real thing?
Posted by Spike Matthews on Thursday, February 11, 2010

Today, may I present for your viewing pleasure, Logorama, a short film about life in a city on the west coast of the USA, as represented by a multitude of business logos and pop icons. I’ve watched it three times so far, and I’m still finding little references I missed before. One thing I will say is that the film-makers (a French bunch under the name of H5) really don’t seem to like poor old Fido Dido

Slick, sharp and ripe fer litigation, I’d suggest ye watch this before it disappears (Oscar nomination notwithstanding).

For the Fracophones amongst us, here’s the film’s own page: LOGORAMA-THEMOVIE (it’s also a better resolution for watching the film, IMHO)

Jonah Hill is a Fat Jason Bateman
Posted by Chris on Friday, February 5, 2010

John C. Reilly is funny. Jonah Hill just doesn’t do it for me though. This Cyrus movie looks like one of those hip, wanna-be awkward on purpose independent films. If your sick of that genre you can watch the television show It’s Your Move from the 80s. The television show has the same plot with a young Jason Bateman and is probably funnier.

I am a huge fan of Jeunet’s films. In my opinion, his films have terrific pacing and cinematography. I am very excited for his newest film.

VIFF – Sexuality
Posted by Chris on Wednesday, October 7, 2009

Here’s a promo for the Vancouver International Film Festival.

It’s totally safe for work if you are employed by Courtney Love to do anything that involves touching her. Otherwise, it might be considered NSFW.

via no fat clips!!!

Can sexuality be classified as bitter? Just curious.

Don’t read the rest, it’s just me babbling about nothing that has to do with the video because I am sleep deprived.

Those folks at No Fat Clips!!! do it right, hosting videos right on the site. I should have started doing that instead of embedding things. I was worried about space, but now I have tons of space and hundreds of broken, embedded links because youtube and the other sites are totally untrustworthy sources.
