The Real Doll Factory documentary you never wished for. Obviously NSFW.

This device is not new. Chris Landreth won an Academy Award for his animated documentary about animator Ryan Larkin entitled Ryan. Documentaries about people with obsessive or unique lifestyles can be wildly entertaining, but again nothing new. So maybe combining the two will make this work. I’ll let you be the judge. I don’t partake in the WoW, but I bet those of you that do will like this.

I don’t know where I was when this happened. Honestly I want to laugh, but at the same time I’d like to see Kanye fall off the face of the planet.
Recently, I watched It Might Get Loud which featured Jack White. I’ve never heard of the film they are talking about in the clip above. It Might Get Loud was fairly decent, I learned Jack White might be that kid you know who is weird for the sake of being weird, the Edge is ALL effects and Jimmy Page could outplay either one of them while sleeping in a bathtub full of his own blood and urine.
I spotted these over at Motionographer, and went looking for them to share with you all. The animations themselves are interesting, fast paced & effective. The subject and information is incredibly intriguing. I am sad that I no longer have Netflix, I would like to see the documentary that these animations came from, H2Oil.
So, I just discover Gogol Bordello for the first time and Pix comments that you have to see them live. I think I understand her claim after seeing the trailer for a documentary film by Margarita Jimeno. Coincidentally, the film opens in New York days after I learn of the group. Huh…
