I guess I have to stop bitching about the lack of actual animation on Adult Swim. It turns out Disney, the self-proclaimed god of animation, can’t be bothered to draw either.

On Thursday, videogum posted this video.
On that same day, boingboing posts this video, which is cooler, not because of the nudity but because this baby is more talented.
Babies taking over the industry?
Two theories:
Disney has seen success with the Jonas girls and Billy Ray’s kid so they are trying to hit that crucial 7mos. to 36mos. demographic.

The pervie record label execs are desperate to find a cash cow because Britney and Xtina are grown up and might as well be Cher & Celine Dion.
Corruption is ripe in our corporations, our government and our banking system. Yet, all we ever do is roll our eyes or slap white collar criminals on their wrists. However, if you try to video tape Enchanted with your camcorder, by God we’re going to throw the book at you. Michael Logan was sentenced to 21 months in jail for pirating films.
So much of our lives, these days, are filled with keeping up appearances. Logan’s prison sentence is a symbolic gesture to say, “We’re tough on pirates! Don’t pirate movies!” It reminds me of our economic bailout package which was all about the appearance that we are doing something. (Seriously, every time a politician, or even an economist was asked to explain how the package would work, they couldn’t.) Now, we put this dude in jail for trying to copy Enchanted? For fuck sake, isn’t it punishment enough that he had to sit through the film to begin with? Read the rest of this entry »
Jumping right into the PMOG missions I took this week, here’s the goods–
The friendly atheist blog has an article from the Orlando Sentinel comparing Ben Stein’s Expelled to Bill Maher’s Religulous. A while back I shared my opinion on the Ben Stein film produced to discredit the idea of evolution. I have yet to see Expelled or Religulous, but I hope to see both. The article comparing the films was very interesting and I found it thanks to a mission by deixado leading me to the friendlyatheist.com
Thanks to PMOG user clicktok, I’ve got a new place to search for TV shows & movies online. OVGuide is a site that allows users to search for video content from over 1600 sites. I am looking forward to catching up with some bad TV there.
I could have posted this volume of PMOG Link Monday much sooner, but I spent an hour playing Totem Destroyer. If you lose track of what day it is because you are having so much fun, blame gbelste not me. I am warning you that it is addictingly fun.
Finally, I took a mission on copyright law to see what sort of resources were presented by the PMOG user. It was mostly sites that I already seen, but another user, allyson posted this video link in the comments:
I thought they used a great concept to discuss copyright.
While you were drooling over the 12th screening of Iron Man, I was finding the trailer for the movie that is going truly kick ass.
I wish I wasn’t so cynical, if I was insanely positive I could probably be a Hollywood producer. Seriously, I wish I would have seen this trailer before I gave out all the Charlton Heston Awards.
Whoa! A week went by without me posting, some blogger I have turned out to be. It was a busy one, my vehicle decided to die on me so I have been a bit distracted. I got a couple of things I am working on for the site, a post about staying anonymous online and some random silliness. I have also been researching some stuff to make another video. Call me less than original, but it will probably turn out to be something similar to Crude Appetite, which can be found in the video section. My newest inspiration is this story that I heard on NPR.
For now, have some fun and read about the 9 Most Racist Disney Characters. Thank you Cracked.com for exposing this evil corporation.
