Record Makers Birthday Promo

A French independent label, Record Makers, is celebrating a 10 year anniversary. They’ve released a free app for the iPhone/iPod Touch created by artists MORICEAU & MRZYK which is quite entertaining for such a simple concept. Check it out in the iTunes store. Also, they made this bad ass animation. It is NSFW, but is amazingly awesome.

UPDATE: I am going out on a limb and saying Sébastien Tellier is the composer of the music. I believe that is what the beginning of the video is saying. It’s hard to confirm since his site and the sound(for the iPhone app) designer’s  site are crappy myspace pages. Creative Applications has more information.

This is freakin’ amazing. Apparently the first animal shot into space was a Russian dog named Laika. A bar in Montreal is named after this pup and they had Guillaume Blanchet make them a groovy video for their 10 year anniversary.
