Hello! Hello! Seems like ages since I posted anything… Boy I am glad I am not paid by the piece. Erm, wait I aint getting paid… Oh now I remember! I asked to be allowed to write here… Hope the boss wont read this. Lets get to the point though in case he does.
So once upon a time there was a young journalist named Adèle Blanc-Sec (like the wine as she herself says). Mademoiselle Blanc Sec lives in Paris, France in the era before WWI. She leads an adventurous life between pterodactyls and young men professing their undying love to her in romantic letters. Her assets are her single mindedness and a very sharp tongue (there is the matter of her undressing in front of a mummy too, but hey he was dead at the time). By now you might have concluded that we are talking about a fictional character and more importantly about a comic book heroine. She is the creation of Jacques Tardi and was recently immortalised in another medium as well, namely on film. The film was directed by Luc Besson who in my opinion has a very unique way of looking at things especially if there is an element of the fantastic involved (who can forget Diva Plavalaguna from the Fifth Element?). So without further ado here is the trailer from the film, which by the way is in French, but do not let this disuade you from watching it. Well, unless you want to miss 107 min of laughing, ogling pretty girls and being entertained in general.

I'll admit it here where no one reads, my favorite directors are French. Luc Besson has to be one of them.
You are just saying that cause he uses pretty girls in his films
Seriously, this looks like a great film.
I will admit i was being kinda unfair and only joking. Also Chris I had the misfortune of watching Ben Affleck's the Town on Saturday. My reaction was "Just shoot me now!"
