Shelfari

From jenn2d2, I learned about Shelfari. This is a social networking site for book lovers. Share reviews, show off the books you’ve read with your online bookshelf and get loads of recommended titles from other users.

Lix.in

Alright, have you played with tinyurl, yet? This works virtually the same, however the interface seems cleaner, you can do multiple links at a time and you can embed the code on your site. Seems pretty snazzy to me. Basically, these types of services are used to shorten gigantic links, maybe a large URL to a news story you read. Thanks to chayoss, for this one.  UPDATE:  OK, I find it a bit annoying that Lix.in takes people who click the link to a Lix.in page that says “continue.”

E-Cycling Central

Finally, it’s time to behave responsibly and dispose of those old gadgets the right way. orangevwbug has suggested the perfect site. At E-Cycling Central you can find the nearest E-recycling center to dispose of that old laptop, tv or back massager.
