Tom Lehrer is great, ’tis true (I love Shooting Squirrels in the Park). Having seen this clip, I was put in mind of a couple of jokers going by the name of Amateur Transplants who recorded their own druggy version of this tune…
What – no oxygen or carbon?
The drug song is wonderful. I made a commercial for a fictional drug in college. It was 15 seconds of education and 1 minute of disclaimers. I thought I was really clever. I probably was. I also have a really old school desktop wallpaper I designed that is just a bunch of side effects.
I hated all the pharmaceutical solutions back in the day, but now I take a drug that makes me forget to hate them. Now I just need a drug that stops me from sharing useless information in blog posts and comments.
There is that guy giving drugs to unaware people, only now we all know what happens next… So do not take the pill, no matter what he promises it will do! (picture included just in case anyone bumps into him)
