Depth perception on trial.
Posted by on Saturday, April 10, 2010

I have a little present fer Chris today. As he is so fond of projection art, I thought I would post this little darling for him. Made by Urbanscreen, designed for and projected onto the Hamburg Kunsthalle (art gallery), it makes full use of the building’s own properties and utterly screws with your sense of perspective – keep an eye out for the fake shadows…

Via Dornob, but make sure ye click the Urbanscreen link up there and check out all their other work.

    Oooh a pressie for me??

This is a good one, thank you. I have to admit that I saw it somewhere and didn't watch it all the way through because it just didn't grab my attention. Of course, later in the week the video was everywhere and I was beating myself up for not posting it. However, I never did watch the whole thing.

So, I am glad to see it here and give it a second chance. It is very clever and beautifully executed. I must have been in a bad mood the first time I tried to watch it. Perhaps it was the day I found out Kevin Costner was set to star in another movie.
